Its always greener after the rain.

I love how green everything gets after a good rainfall. We were due one after a long drought. Everything was starting to look yellow. I went out trying to get a photo of my ducks in a mud puddle but they had moved on when I finally got back so I had to settle for some nice photos of the chickens enjoying the fresh wet grass and rooting through the compost pile.

Hoping your chickens are all enjoying the fresh cool grass as much as mine are. My Silkie loved it so much she finally started laying again!

  1. Hi. I wanted to return the blog visit and thank you for visiting mine. You have very cute chickens. 🙂

In answer to your question, yes, rennet tablets are good to use too. In fact, I understand they have a better shelf life than the liquid. I get liquid because on a per cheese basis, it’s cheaper. There’s some helpful Q&A about rennet over at the Cheese Queen’s.
